HISTOMORPHOLOGICAL FINDINGS AND CLINICO-RADIOLOGICAL CORRELATION OF INTESTINAL ATRESIA AT A TERTIARY CARE CENTRE

Background: An atresia is a congenital defect of hollow viscus that results in complete obstruction the lumen. Intestinal one most frequent causes bowel newborn and can occur at any point gastrointestinal tract. This study was undertaken to histomorphological findings intestinal correlate it with different subtypes clinico-radiological feature. Material methods: prospective observational conducted 24 months on resected tract 40 neonatal cases admitted Pediatric surgery ward received Department Pathology, Indira Gandhi Institute Medical Sciences, Patna.
